Hello there, sorry about the long absence but the computer has been on the blink. The studio is up and running and i have a fresh batch of paintings on the go, very equestrian at the mo. I'm still available for any commissioned work in a wide range of media( paint, ink+bleach, collage, relief, abstract, figurative, you name it I can do it) and can now work on much larger pieces. I am embarking on a new sculpture installation project. I will be travelling around the countryside creating sculptural works on site using only the materials found there. We can all be guilty of taking advantage of our planet by way of our daily activities. Following on from my work undertaken at college,

Form in Snow shown here, which utilised materials found on site to create a sculptural marker within the landscape, I have made a series of 100% recycled portraits. Each painting is made from a combination of found materials, recycled nails and paint salvaged from decorating and a local car sprayer.

Its not too late to commission a portrait as a gift for your loved one/ friend ...even your boss. I can work to whatever size you may require, from A5 pencil to 8 foot paintings and beyond. People, pets, places, anything is possible. All I require is a decent photo, and around 2 days to a week to complete a project.

New project!

I am currently planning a new body of work centred around the theatre. My aim is to capture the performers and behind the scenes crew rehearsing, preparing and performing a production with an emphasis on movement and expression.This painting of muse frontman Mat Bellamy should give you some idea of where I am heading.(this painting is not for sale as it is a gift for my sister-in-law) If you would like a similarly dynamic portrayal of your own icon, do drop me a line as I am always available for commissions, and relish a challenge.
